Andressa's Challenge

I made this LO to attend the challenge proposed by Andressa. We had to follow some rules, like using colours related to earth elements. I chose the element Earth, so I had to use brown, orange, green and beige, also the challenge includes use some different materials like box card, marker, crayons, etc. The link for the challenge is this.
It was very hard for me because I am not used to work with alternative materials. I got inspiration to the LO from works that I saw at http://www.customcrops.com/articles.php . There is a huge list of works and tips there, it's worth have a look.
This was the result.. I hope you like..

Save Keith Hospital (South Australia)

The Keith and District Hospital is a community owned, not for profit organisation, operating as an incorporated association, which has served Keith, surrounding districts and towns for the past 56 years.
The hospital is an integral part of the fabric of the rural community and provides GPs, Accident and Emergency Services, Aged Care Beds, Acute Care beds and allied health services. The State Government is cutting its portion of funding to the Keith and District Hospital by 60% – this will force it to close – It will be forced to close its doors on June 30th, 2011.

There is a huge campaign using Internet to help the hospital.
Take a look on this URL below and you will see ways to help on it !!!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day...& Grandmas, Too!

Author: Unknown
While we honor all our mothers
with words of love and praise
While we tell about their goodness
and their kind and loving ways
We should also think of grandma
She's a mother, too, you see
For she mothered my dear mother
as my mother mothers me!

WW1 May Challenge

I am enjoying very much to participate from some challenges, like this one, for instance. It was a really challenge for me use only two tones of colors to make a page. And the best part is that I loved the result. Thank you to WW1 for creating so fascinating ideas

May 1st challenge - Once Upon a Sketch

My son trainned a lot for his 2nd competition of swimming. I always give all support for him to become a swimmer. I think it is one of the best sports for the health. Thanks God he likes so much to train.
I made this page  using colors that I really love like blue and pink, also I made a mix of embellishments to bring happiness to the page. I hope you have liked it as much as I.

Lets get a look closer

Shabby Chic style

Shabby Chic style is characterized by such colors as pastel pinks, muted greens, and washed gray or neutral tones combined with dark contrasting colors. Think vintage, well-worn, peeling, and well-loved. Think comfort. Shabby chic is not intimidating – it is warm, cozy and inviting.
This is my first try to make a page using the shabby chic concepts. I did this page in our lastest  SGFriends meeting. The layout is a liftting of Pam from  blog Kaisercrafties

Let's get a look closer.
