I loved this sketch #192 from Creative Scrappers! I took this pictures from my son, in his first Soccer Championship in School. He said that his trophy is between his favourite things, and he keeps a special place for it in his bedroom! We hope this one is going to be the first of many others!!

Dear followers,

Sorry to be away from the blog for so long.. I had a big change in my life, and it is not finished yet.. Now, finally we came back to Australia, and we are involved with our settlement.. I really love this country and I am very glad to come back, it is like a dream that became true.
When my things arrive from overseas I promise to continue making my loved scrapbooking and come back to the challenges!!

A good idea

My hubby took this picture more than 10 years ago, when we didn't have digital cameras. For me it is one of the most original photos that we have. I was walking on the street with my friends and he looked to the rear-view mirror and saw us, and took the picture. I loved it.

The best part of scrapbook is that you can tell your history through pictures, also tell the picture's history

I made this page to the challenge proposed by Simone. What I most liked was that I used the colour black to express the cold, instead to use white, as usual. In Brazil we don't have snow, yet, hahaha, on the other hand we have had nigths very cold, specially this year. Frio is the word for cold, in portuguese..

Andressa's Challenge

I made this LO to attend the challenge proposed by Andressa. We had to follow some rules, like using colours related to earth elements. I chose the element Earth, so I had to use brown, orange, green and beige, also the challenge includes use some different materials like box card, marker,crayons, etc. The link for the challenge is this.

It was very hard for me because I am not used to work with alternative materials. I got inspiration to the LO from works that I saw at http://www.customcrops.com/articles.php . There is a huge list of works and tips there, it's worth have a look.

My son trainned a lot for his 2nd competition of swimming. I always give all support for him to become a swimmer. I think it is one of the best sports for the health. Thanks God he likes so much to train.

When I made this page, I wanted to create a effect of waves reaching the beach, then I cutted the paper and glued piece over piece.

This was my first page about beach, and the photo shows my hubby and my son together looking to the big blue ocean, enjoying this wonderful moment together, as father and son.

Everybody deserves moments like this. These moments make the life worthwhile.

Christmas time

The best part of Christmas is receive Santa Claus with our family and see that we can believe in our dreams because everything is possible.

The idea for this LO was too keep the first letter that my son wrote to Santa by himself . I made a cover to put the letter inside and keep it safe. It's a good way to preserve our memories and wishes.

After a while, I returned to Brazil and I found special friends. We used to meet us once a month to do scrapbooking together, and I came back to the meetings. The last I went we did this calendar, Elisa who taught us do it, she is brilliant. I could to make scrapbook again after a bad time.. I hope to make more and more scrapbook, I am always trying to find time in this crazy life that we have in Sao Paulo. Bellow are the pictures of the calendar.. Parking at Disney - Yes, take a picture !

The Disney World parking lots are huge. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are part of the biggest parking lots in the world. So, take a picture of where you parked each day. On the end of a fun day, you will be not sure if you parked at "Goofy 23" ...or "Pluto 11". Especially if you rented a car and you only remenber what color is (in this case, take also a picture of the car on first day...).

They can be for example in a square in the bandstand, like this picture... This day specifically I saw a marriage in a boat..

Something that has a lot here is playground.. Gui is loving, now imagine a playground without too much kids, where the view is the sea..

Folks, behind me is the Flinders Street Station, central railway station of the suburban rail network of Melbourne, parto fo City Loop (with other 4 railway station around CBD), and it is huge, reminds a little of the Estação da Luz, isn't it?

Me and my son in front of our home. In this day the weather was too cold, and we have decided do gardening. In Australia we can only use reusable water, and I always save the water from the laundry machine.

I never imagined doing gardening, because I always lived in apartments, so it is a novelty for me.

If you are going to visit Epcot, specially the World Show Case, don't forget to buy the passport. You can get it stamped in each country that you visit, plus a native will write a message in their language for you.
Other funny idea is take pictures with the large variety of hats from each country.

This tray I made to give to my mother-in-law at Christmas, and she liked too much... Just a tip: I used pimaco transparent to cover the picture, and protect against probable liquids.

Tips: usually have big lines

Picture Tip: who will take the picture, get the Dumbo in front of who will be at picture. At line, asks to use 2 different Dumbos to have a good picture - cast menbers will not say no for you !
