Sorry to be away from the blog for so long.. I had a big change in my life, and it is not finished yet.. Now, finally we came back to Australia, and we are involved with our settlement.. I really love this country and I am very glad to come back, it is like a dream that became true.
When my things arrive from overseas I promise to continue making my loved scrapbooking and come back to the challenges!!
My hubby took this picture more than 10 years ago, when we didn't have digital cameras. For me it is one of the most original photos that we have. I was walking on the street with my friends and he looked to the rear-view mirror and saw us, and took the picture. I loved it.
The best part of scrapbook is that you can tell your history through pictures, also tell the picture's history

I made this page to the challenge proposed by Simone. What I most liked was that I used the colour black to express the cold, instead to use white, as usual. In Brazil we don't have snow, yet, hahaha, on the other hand we have had nigths very cold, specially this year. Frio is the word for cold, in portuguese..

I made this LO for the challenge from Birdistheword blog. In Brazil, the Valentines Days is 12th june, so I decided to pay a tribute to my husband. I made the flowers by myself using Mother's day cartridge.
I love our scrapbooking meetings.. It's a time where we can do art together and talk and laught and have fun... It's a great time... Girls, all of you will be always in my heart, and these moments will be unforgetable for me..
This is our group, some girls are missing...
This is me, having fun...
This was the result...

I made this LO to attend the challenge proposed by Andressa. We had to follow some rules, like using colours related to earth elements. I chose the element Earth, so I had to use brown, orange, green and beige, also the challenge includes use some different materials like box card, marker, crayons, etc. The link for the challenge is this.
It was very hard for me because I am not used to work with alternative materials. I got inspiration to the LO from works that I saw at http://www.customcrops.com/articles.php . There is a huge list of works and tips there, it's worth have a look.
This was the result.. I hope you like..

While we honor all our mothers
with words of love and praise
While we tell about their goodness
and their kind and loving ways
We should also think of grandma
She's a mother, too, you see
For she mothered my dear mother
as my mother mothers me!
I am enjoying very much to participate from some challenges, like this one, for instance. It was a really challenge for me use only two tones of colors to make a page. And the best part is that I loved the result. Thank you to WW1 for creating so fascinating ideas
My son trainned a lot for his 2nd competition of swimming. I always give all support for him to become a swimmer. I think it is one of the best sports for the health. Thanks God he likes so much to train.
I made this page using colors that I really love like blue and pink, also I made a mix of embellishments to bring happiness to the page. I hope you have liked it as much as I.
Shabby Chic style is characterized by such colors as pastel pinks, muted greens, and washed gray or neutral tones combined with dark contrasting colors.Think vintage, well-worn, peeling, and well-loved. Think comfort. Shabby chic is not intimidating – itiswarm, cozy and inviting.
This is my first try to make a page using the shabby chic concepts. I did this page in our lastest SGFriends meeting. The layout is a liftting of Pam from blog Kaisercrafties
A good idea to remember the name of the places that you have visited is to make a page like that. In this case, when we visited Downtow Disney there was a lot of bars, pubs, and I am terrible to remember the name of all places that was there, so I made this page and I wrote the name of all places we visited.
