The Keith and District Hospital is a community owned, not for profit organisation, operating as an incorporated association, which has served Keith, surrounding districts and towns for the past 56 years.The hospital is an integral part of the fabric of the rural community and provides GPs, Accident and Emergency Services, Aged Care Beds, Acute Care beds and allied health services.The State Government is cutting its portion of funding to the Keith and District Hospital by 60% – this will force it to close – It will be forced to close its doors on June 30th, 2011.
